Nothing says Spring like daffodils, hyacinths and tulips, but there's a plethora of unusual, specialty flowers to choose from like blackberries, hellebore, ranunculus, grape hyacinth, scabiosa, mini pineapples, pink pearl kangaroo paws and more, that will make your designs pop and keep your customers coming back for more.
With Passover and Palm Sunday on March 28th, followed by Good Friday on April 2nd and Easter on Aril 4th, you might have an abundance of Spring centerpiece orders to fill. If you're tired of the same old ideas - try a twist by incorporating spring veggies, nests and eggs into your floral creations. Here's a few unique ideas to make your shop stand out from the crowd:
Fresh carrots provide a ready-to-go green bouquet to surround your blossoms. Insert the flowers in the center of the bunch and surround them with splash of orange.
Try tying springs of asparagus to the outside of a cylinder vase. Secure them with twine for a fresh from the garden look to complement your bouquet.
Surround a vase with angel vine, or create a bird's nest with grapevines and bittersweet vines. Use a liner and foam to create a centerpiece within the nest. Finish off your design with some faux eggs.
Spray an egg carton a pretty spring color and insert tiny vases into the compartments - for a unique vessel for your centerpiece.

"The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month."
